SILIGURI KHANIK SANGHA’S PUJA PREP STARTS WITH ‘KHUNTI PUJA’ TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 15th August, 2016: In the occasion of 15th August, the Independence Day of Khanik Sangha, one of the oldest club of Bharat Nagar area performed the ‘Khunti Puja’ marking the official Durga Puja preparations of the Puja committee of the Club. On this occasion, there was a huge gathering of crown mostly from the nearby areas. The children were the one who enjoyed the most. The members of the club including the senior and juniors ensured that the program gets through without any hassles. The President of the Puja Committee Mr. Asok Dutta was present on this occasion along with this the secretary Mr. Ankur Dutta was also present in the occasion. Mr. Ankur Dutta said that this year’s theme is “Janapade Mishe Gache Sohorer Bhir, Pujoi Beriye ashe Jaisalmer”, i.e. Jaisalmer, historic city of Rajasthan. timesofnorth.IN wishes Khanik Sangha all the best for this year’s Puja Endeavor.
